The Kinsmen Aquatic Centre provides residents the opportunity to take part in year round recreational swimming, aquasize, competitive swimming, water sports and lessons, and is home to the Parkland Gators. Our Kinsmen Aquatic Centre accommodates up to 200 people and includes:
• a wave pool
• 4 lane, 25 meter pool
• 150’ water slide
• 12 person hot tub
• water umbrella
Frequently during the year Free Swims are sponsored by Healthy Together Now, Diabetes Prevention Initiative, and the Parkland Healthy Child Coalition. Only a 1 minture walk from Dauphin Express Inn. Countryfest Community Cinema is a community owned, non-profit business that was built by people in the Dauphin and Parkland area. The community fully supported the project with over $1 million raised by community residents, organizations and business. The business model for Countryfest Community Cinema is to put profits back into other community projects so all donations will continue to help kick-start other initiatives in the community.
The CUP is home of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Dauphin Kings Junior A Hockey Club and has been “rocked” by such superstars as Burton Cummings, Hedley, Johnny Reid and many more. This new facility encompasses a 2,000 seat entertainment venue with a designated wheelchair viewing area and state-of-the-art sound and acoustical system, creating a second-to-none event venue. It also includes the 211-meter Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy rubberized 2-lane walking/running track, upper and lower concessions, Strilkiwski Viewing Lounge and meeting room, liquor sales areas, two ticket offices and eight large dressing rooms.
